Convenient transit Downtown includes the MAX light rail system, providing travel around town and to suburbs East and West; Portland’s Streetcar, looping through the Pearl District and Nob Hill; as well as Portland’s reliable metro bus system. Walk to Tom McCall Waterfront Park, alongside the Willamette River, which is a popular venue for the City’s annual Rose Festival as well as routine musical events.
